New Amplifier Day! I thought I’d make an inaugural post of my newly-arrived Willsenton R8. The Freya+/Vidar combo is currently taking a backseat to the tube-a-licious sound of this thing. Even with just 8 hours of stock tube burn-in, this baby is a treat to listen to.

The best under $10 rosé I’ve tried this year. I’m sure there are contenders, but for $7.99 this is a damn fine value for a warm weeknight. The usual flavors prevail but this bottle is more balanced and a touch more body than many. In fact, at 14% abv it’s approaching Tavel in abv, body and quality.
