Saiyans being weak Debunked
As many of you might have heard, many DB fans, especially in youtube and what's not. That Saiyans as a whole, excluding Goku, Vegata, and their offsprings, and obviously Broly. Are quite weak. Most arguments focus on the fact that someone of the elite class like Nappa (who was later on retconned to be a Middle-class warrior instead with the only elites being Prince Vegeta and his father the King) being at a mere 4000 In Battle Power. With some possibility of him being closer to 6000 when serious (from how much better he was able to fight against Goku after Vegata's pep talk) when compared to the elite of Freeza's army like Cui who was at 18,000.
What many fail to take into account is the context. Such that in comparison to the vast majority of the universe, even a weak Saiyan is absurdly strong. Easily being able to surpass the Battle Power of 1000 from just growing in the right circumstances, mainly in the high gravity of their home planet. While a strong human like Roshi not even surpass 200 even with his greatly expanded lifespan.
That, and the fact all of Freeza's elite and most likely his strongest regular soldiers, are mutants or extraordinarily strong members of their species to an absurd amount.
So the fact that Freeza, even when commanding a whole army made of absurdly strong mutants of various species across the universe. Was still fearful of the Saiyan race getting more numerous and stronger, to the point of deciding to genocide them, which by itself speaks to their strength.
