How to stop a mower remotely?

I'm just about to take delivery of my first robot mower, which is a very basic model. It has Bluetooth control only, and no rain sensor.

I'm kind of thinking out loud here but I'm wondering if there's some way I can stop it from mowing in the rain, when I'm out at work.

The only thing I can think of is to install a WiFi enabled switch to cut the power to the base unit, which should stop the mower on the spot, but leave it out in the rain which isn't ideal.
